The Lord Leycester is a traditional grade 1 listed building which is an ideal wedding venue in the heart of the ancient town of Warwick. There are several great features such as the medieval chapel and masters gardens to utilise in the wedding photography. The building itself is stunning and with architecture dating from 1126 there are plenty of interesting textures and areas to stage some exquisite bridal portraiture. In the history of the Lord Leycester it is said that a banquet held for King James I held in the great hall left the town of Warwick in debt for a decade. The hospital has homed retired service men for some 400 years and is largely funded by Events that take place there such as weddings and the delightful tea room.
It was a pleasure to work at this venue, and can honestly say it was a visually stunning historic building in a town where the castle is probably more well know. I have included a few images below from the big day, a big thanks to Love Wedding Cars for their help in positioning the car so brilliantly.
